Larry and Margaret Dean are the founders of L & M Pawn & Gun.  Many years ago Larry developed a huge interest in the pawn and gun industry. They investigated the local pawn and gun industry, and found a need for exactly the type of business they wanted to serve the Auburn, Opelika, and surrounding areas with. They provide customary pawn services for their customers who need access to cash quickly and have items they want to sell or pawn. They buy gold, jewelry, guns and ammunition, boats, lawn equipment, etc... So don't hesitate to give them a call, or visit their store when you’re looking for a great deal to meet your needs. 

Larry is a proud Military Veteran and so is Lewis Worrell which is why their extensive gun inventory and their Build Your Own Gun program is an important part of L & M Pawn & Gun store offering.

Message From The Owners

Here at L & M Pawn and Gun, we strive everyday to make the customer experience in our store to be one of a kind.  We opened our store May 1st and started with a modest inventory which we have steadily increased in size in effort to provide the best products and services to our customers. 



One thing I learned early on in the retail business is that it is your personnel that makes your business.  With that in mind, during our second month in business, we hired a phenomenal store manager, Barbara Mejia, who brings over eight years of pawn and gun industry experience. She also shares the same mindset and business principles as Margaret and myself, by acknowledging that their success is solely dependent on the satisfaction of our customers. 

We were also fortunate to hire Lewis Worrell to provide expert advice on our Build Your Own Gun program we are implementing. Our motto here at L & M Pawn & Gun is, “We don’t want all the business, just yours.” 

Another commitment that we are making to our customers is that if we do not have what you are looking for, we will find a way to get it for you.
